Atticco’s hand-made Silk scarf collection is created using Natural Dyes and the ancient and fascinating craft of hand block printing. First, a skilled artisan carves a pattern into a block of softwood.  This block is then dipped into dye and firmly pressed onto the fabric. For each design between of 4-16 stamps are needed! Creating this marvelous piece took years of practice, immense patience, and a steady hand. Over centuries this art has been perfected and handed down, from generation to generation.
